A shrine in the desert,
waiting to be made whole.
Earl Starcher built this shrine with his own hands and his own time, out of love for Meher Baba — so that those who could not travel to Baba’s tomb in the East would have a place in the West to come and sit. We are restoring it so that it stands for the next hundred years.
Why it matters
The shrine has stood as a quiet landmark for pilgrims and neighbours alike. Left as it is, another few seasons will take it. Placeholder — replace with two or three sentences in your own voice.
What we’re doing
Stabilising the foundation, re-plastering the walls, repairing the dome and restoring the interior so it can be opened again to visitors. Placeholder — swap in the real scope of work.
